TOX PRESSOTECHNIK - successful since 30 years!

Chronology

 

1978  ● Founding of PRESSOTECHNIK GmbH.

             Introduction of the first Powerpackage cylinder.

 

1980  ● Development of a product line.

 

1981  ● Development of the first resistance welding cylinder based on the Powerpackage.

 

1985  ● Founding of PRESSOTECHNIK Ltd. in Chicago, USA.

 

1986  ● Introduction of the TOX joining technology in the round joint version.

 

1988  ● First TOX application in mass-production (Office chair)

 

1989  ● The TOX joint is first applied in automobiles in stick shift transmission housings

             and sunroofs. A success story begins.

 

1990  ● Increase in export activities.
             Establishment of daughter companies (see above), joint ventures in smaller

             markets. 

 

1993  ● Begin of production in China and setup of a local sales organization.

 

1998  ● Delivery of the 100,000 Powerpackage cylinder.

 

1999  ● Expansion of the facilities in Germany and the USA.

         ● Implementation of SAP for the company’s ERP system.

 

2000  ● ISO Certification

 

2002  ● Introduction of the TOX ElectricDrive:
             electromechanical servo drive complete with hard- and soft-ware, notably user

             friendly.

 

2003  ● TOX-ClinchRivet in mass-production. The pierce rivet gets competition!

         ● A celebration takes place: 25 years company anniversary!

 

2004  ● Expansion of production capacity in China.

 

2005  ● Introduction of the TOX-FinePress program: we strengthen our market

             leadership by adding a complete bench top press and accessories program.

 

         ● TOX Korea moves into own building.

 

2006  ● Introduction of the own-developed process monitoring CEP 400.

         ● Construction of a production facility in India.

  

2007  ● Chinese, Japanese and Indian operation move into new facilities.

         ● The 500th TOX ElectricDrive Servodrive is delivered!

 

2008  ● ....
